Art Centrix Sculpture and Installation Grant 2025-26
Supported by:
Art Centrix Space, New Delhi
The Art Centrix Sculpture and Installation Grant 2025-26 is the second edition of the Art Centrix Grants, launched by Art Centrix Space, New Delhi. This grant focuses specifically on artists engaged in sculpture and installation practices. Conceived by Monica Jain, Founder-Director, Art Centrix Space and Sibdas Sengupta, Artist and Curator, the program aims to explore contemporary practices that blur disciplinary boundaries and redefine artistic approaches in today's context.
This edition seeks artists who are pushing the limits of materiality, physicality, and tactility in their work. We invite innovative proposals that challenge traditional notions of sculpture and installation, fostering fresh perspectives on artistic practices.
We encourage artists to collaborate across mediums, materials, and ideas to create sculptural experiences that intersect art, architecture, research, and community engagement, inviting audiences to actively partake in the artistic dialogue.
About the ART CENTRIX GRANTS
Art Centrix Grants as a new vertical, conceived by The Gallery, Art Centrix Space in 2024, primarily aims to open opportunities for supporting young artists of our country. Art Centrix Grants aim to think through new ways to develop artistic research, production and exhibitions with process-driven approaches. As a Gallery, Art Centrix Space has been dedicatedly nurturing new-age artistic thinking, rigorous program-driven discourses and curatorial interventions to strengthen the ecosystem of contemporary art at both national and international levels. In this process, the core of our gallery has been to engage with different geographies of our country to forge valuable collaborations between the artists and the cultural institutions to promote young and mid-career practitioners. Similarly, Art Centrix Grants, as a program, focuses on extending the ethos of our gallery and how in this process, support structures to be developed for artists, practicing in the early stages of their career from different parts of the country. As part of the program, we aim to provide yearly grants dedicated to specific medium-based practices for each of its editions. In many ways, one of the unique features of this program is to concentrate on specific mediums in each edition to open a wider sense of diversity and with an urgency for supporting different medium-based practices at different times.
